In the Toktogul district, a project aimed at supporting farmers and developing agriculture is actively being implemented.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, an initiative to create intensive orchards is being carried out here.
As part of this project, drip irrigation systems are planned to be installed on 30 hectares of rain-fed land, as well as the construction of a water reservoir with a capacity of 15,000 cubic meters. The area will also be fenced, and protective measures will be put in place.
The land plot is leased for a period of 5 years through the district agricultural development management, which creates conditions for long-term planning and sustainable growth of gardening.
Starting from March of this year, work will begin on planting seedlings. The use of drip irrigation and modern gardening technologies promotes efficient and economical use of water resources, which is especially important in conditions of water scarcity, and significantly eases the labor of farmers.
The modern technologies being implemented by the ministry aim to increase yields, reduce water losses, and ensure the sustainability of agricultural production.
