
The project aims to recycle up to 200 tons of unsorted waste daily. The Italian technology will enable the production of environmentally friendly alternative fuel, which is planned to be used in cement plants in Kyrgyzstan. In addition, the agreement includes important aspects such as the reclamation of overflowing landfills and the creation of a safe system for the disposal of medical waste in public health institutions.
Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency, emphasized that the republic needs effective solutions that can be quickly adapted to local conditions. Discussion participants, including representatives from city administrations and the Ministry of Health, have already begun searching for suitable sites for the installation of pilot projects. The Italian side has also committed to training local specialists and ensuring transparency in financial operations, which adds particular significance to the project for the development of Kyrgyzstan's "green" economy.
