An Italian company will assist Kyrgyzstan with the processing of unsorted household waste
During the discussions, the parties explored opportunities for bilateral cooperation in the areas of sustainable development, the implementation of "green" technologies, as well as the processing of solid household and medical waste. The program also includes the implementation of pilot projects in Kyrgyzstan.

Following the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between NAO and TRITOR S.R.L., aimed at establishing a partnership for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.
“According to the memorandum, it is planned to launch pilot projects that will process up to 200 tons of unsorted household waste per day. Alternative eco-friendly types of fuel will also be used in cement plants, modern methods of reclamation and landfill cleaning will be developed, and projects for the processing of medical waste in state healthcare institutions will be initiated. Special attention will be paid to the training and education of local specialists, attracting investments, and ensuring transparency in financial processes,” the statement said.
