Tumonbaev reminded that the Minister of Construction Nurdin Oruntaev had previously claimed that the salaries of his employees amount to 500,000 soms per month, noting that this statement is recorded on video available on social media.
Additionally, the deputy urged not to emphasize that the ministry is responsible for the construction of more than 600 facilities across the country.
"The ministry is allocated budget funds and granted all necessary powers, although previously you were just an agency," he added.
These remarks were made during the discussion of the policy for forming prices for services and works of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as in connection with the rising prices in the construction sector.
