Sewing Factory "Eurasia Group" Expands Production in Osh Region
The National Investment Agency under the President, headed by Ravshanbek Sabirov, announced his recent visit to the sewing factory "Eurasia Group," located in the Osh region. During his visit, he familiarized himself with the current stages of the investment project for the construction of a new production block.
The factory is located in the village of Kashkar-Kyshtak in the Kara-Suu district, and the main purpose of the visit was to assess the progress of work on expanding production capacities. The total investment in the project, considering both the first and subsequent stages, amounts to 40 million US dollars.
As part of the second phase of the project, it is planned to increase the existing production capacities, build additional sewing workshops, and launch a modern dyeing shop. These steps will allow for the organization of a full production cycle, starting from textile fabric and ending with finished products.
The launch of a complete production cycle is expected to significantly reduce dependence on textile imports and increase the level of localization. Furthermore, the project will have a noticeable impact on the socio-economic development of the region, as the expansion of the factory is expected to create over 600 new jobs.
Ravshanbek Sabirov emphasized the importance of this project for the growth of the light industry in Kyrgyzstan and assured that the state is ready to provide comprehensive support for investment initiatives aimed at regional development and job creation.
