A Third of All Taxes. VAT Revenues to the Budget Increased in Kyrgyzstan

According to information provided by the Ministry of Finance, in 2025, the budget of Kyrgyzstan was supplemented by 164 billion soms from the value-added tax (VAT).

Of this amount, 43.8 billion soms came from VAT on goods and services produced in the country, 49.4 billion soms was from VAT on imported goods from EAEU countries, 67.5 billion soms came from goods from third countries, 1.2 billion soms were revenues from VAT on electronic services provided by foreign companies, and 1.9 billion soms were withheld by the tax agent.

The VAT revenue figures increased by 7.9% compared to the previous year — January-December 2024, when they amounted to 151.9 billion soms.
