The amount that the "Google tax" brought to Kyrgyzstan's budget in 2025 has been announced » Gazeta.kg

According to data published by the Ministry of Finance, from January to December 2025, revenues from the value-added tax on electronic services provided by foreign companies, known as the Google tax, amounted to 1 billion 278.2 million soms. This amount is 568 million 916.8 thousand soms more than in the previous year, 2024.

In accordance with the Tax Code, starting from January 1, 2022, all foreign organizations providing electronic services are required to pay VAT at a rate of 12% on the value of their services to the budget of Kyrgyzstan. In 2024, the republic received 709.3 million soms from the "Google tax." The State Tax Service noted that companies such as "Yandex Go," Megogo, and Xsolla have already completed remote registration in the tax service.
