The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has approved the annual report, which presents an analysis of the implementation of measures aimed at developing the infrastructure of railways, highways, and ports within the framework of the Eurasian transport corridors.

According to Arzybek Kozhoshev, the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, the conducted research allows us to assert that the member states of the EAEU, together with the EEC, are actively working on the development of the infrastructure of transport corridors.

In particular, in Armenia, the investment project for the North-South highway corridor continues to be implemented. In Belarus, current repairs have been carried out on 533 kilometers of roads using state funds, and the reconstruction of sections of the M-10 highway has also begun. Kazakhstan has launched the second line of the Dostyk-Moynty railway, which is 836 kilometers long. In Kyrgyzstan, the Tüp-Kegen highway has been officially opened, and in Russia, the route of the second Eurasian road corridor from the border with Belarus to the border with Kazakhstan has been put into operation.

The report, as noted, serves as an important tool for shaping transport policy, providing the EEC and member states with objective data for coordinating the development of transport infrastructure.
