In the Sokuluk district, in the village of Frunze, Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev visited the state enterprise "Kyrgyzmamasyltukumzavod." During his visit, he familiarized himself with new reclamation methods aimed at restoring degraded arable land, as well as the use of modern agricultural equipment. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Water Management and Agriculture.

As part of the demonstration at the enterprise, a deep soil loosening machine (chisel) was shown, which is used in resource-saving agriculture. This machine allows for loosening the soil to a depth of 40 to 70 centimeters, breaking up the compacted subsoil layer, which in turn increases water permeability and moisture retention, as well as improves air exchange, creating optimal conditions for plant root growth.
Experts note that the introduction of modern reclamation technologies contributes to improving soil conditions and allows for an increase in agricultural crop yields by 30-35%.
These technologies are applied both at the pre-sowing preparation stage and in the restoration of compacted and degraded lands.

The Minister emphasized the importance of implementing new technologies in a test mode, noting that the development of reclamation and the renewal of equipment in the agricultural sector are key areas of agricultural policy.

"To increase agricultural productivity, scientifically justified farming practices are necessary. Before plowing and sowing, it is important to analyze the soil condition to accurately determine its nutrient needs and choose optimal agronomic solutions based on this," he added.

In addition, Bakyt Torobaev reported that as part of the state program, agricultural machinery worth 2.5 million dollars will be purchased in 2025 for agricultural producers and breeding farms in the country, which will be provided on leasing terms.
