The Minister of Finance is authorized to sign this agreement with the right to make amendments and additions that do not require a fundamental revision.
According to the terms of the agreement, the Kyrgyz Republic will receive a sub-grant of 1 million US dollars. These funds will be used to support the development of entrepreneur service centers, which includes:
- the creation of an operational model for an integrated agency providing services for businesses;
- the optimization and expansion of licensing and certification services through service centers;
- the development of a digital platform for online service delivery.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic has been designated as the executor of this project. Funding is provided under the Economic Diversification Promotion Program (Subprogram 3).
The sub-grant must be completed by June 30, 2028. The majority of the funds, namely $933.86 thousand, will be allocated for consulting services, equipment acquisition, and training, while the remaining amount will be kept as a reserve.
The agreement requires the Kyrgyz side to adhere to financial management standards and safeguards, as well as a commitment to co-finance additional expenses, including taxes and fees.
