Farmer's Markets Held in Aksy and Ala-Buka Districts
Recently, agricultural product fairs were held in the Aksy and Ala-Buka districts, initiated by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry. The events, organized by local agricultural development administrations, aimed to allow residents to purchase quality products at affordable prices.
A diverse range of products was presented at the fairs, including meat, vegetables, fruits, flour, sugar, and vegetable oil. The participation of local farmers in selling goods directly, without intermediaries, significantly reduced prices for consumers and established direct connections between producers and buyers.
The main goal of these events is to support the domestic market and stabilize food prices. The ministry emphasizes that the country's food security is currently fully ensured. Regular market monitoring shows that product stocks are sufficient, and the risk of shortages is absent.
The ministry plans to continue the practice of organizing mobile markets in other regions of the country, which will be one of the measures of social support for the population.
