The plan for the export of Kyrgyz honey has been approved by the European Commission, which included it in a special list of technical regulations allowing import into the EU territory. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to their data, this decision confirms the compliance of Kyrgyzstan's control and certification system with European Union standards.
“The European Commission's decision opens new horizons for Kyrgyz honey producers, contributing to an increase in their competitiveness on the international stage. Previously, attempts were made to enter the European market with Kyrgyz honey, but due to strict certification conditions, export was not possible. The Ministry of Agriculture will continue efforts to expand the range of domestic products that have access to the European Union market,” the press service notes.
