The Ministry noted that the results of economic policy have impacted the growth of gross domestic product, which has become noticeable at both regional and international levels.
“In 2020, the gross domestic product of Kyrgyzstan amounted to 601.8 billion soms. By 2021, this figure increased to 723.1 billion soms, marking the beginning of economic recovery. In 2022, GDP reached 1 trillion 21 billion soms, for the first time surpassing the psychologically significant mark of 1 trillion soms. In 2023, this figure amounted to 1.2 trillion soms, and forecasts for 2025 predict that the gross domestic product will grow to 1 trillion 976.4 billion soms, bringing it closer to the 2 trillion soms mark,” the statement emphasizes.
Additionally, the Ministry of Economy reported that the average annual real GDP growth rate over the past four years has been 10.2%.
