In the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan, a meeting took place with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Food Processing, B. Bekbolotov, and representatives of the international company Pronova. This was reported by the press service of the ministry.
During the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation in the implementation of advanced agricultural technologies were discussed, including hydroponics for agriculture, the development of greenhouse complexes, and the use of in vitro technology to improve the quality of planting material.
"The company 'Pronova' shared its experience in implementing highly effective projects in agronomy and expressed interest in developing these areas in Kyrgyzstan. In particular, they plan to create a hydroponic system for growing agricultural crops using modern technologies," the press release stated.
Bekbolotov emphasized the importance of introducing new technologies in the agro-industrial sector, noting that the development of hydroponics and greenhouse farming would help improve food security, optimize the use of water resources, and increase agricultural production volumes.As a result of the meeting, both parties expressed their readiness for further cooperation, information exchange, and exploration of options for joint investment projects.
