The Antimonopoly Service returned over 250 million soms to the state budget for violations since 2020

- From 2020 to 2025, the Antimonopoly Service returned over 250 million soms to the state budget thanks to identified violations of legislation. This was reported on the radio by Muratbek Imankulov, Deputy Chairman of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.

According to him, 78.8 million soms were collected in the advertising sector. In the area of consumer rights protection, more than 700 appeals were registered, resulting in the return of over 5 million soms to citizens.

Additionally, more than 5,000 monitoring activities were conducted in the service sector, resulting in fines totaling over 200,000 soms.

The Deputy Chairman of the service added that since the introduction of temporary state price regulation on meat, the total amount of fines has exceeded 600,000 soms. As for coal, after the approval of maximum prices, fines were imposed in the range of 300,000 to 400,000 soms.
