Comparison with the beginning of 2025 shows that the volume of cash increased by 51.8 billion soms, which corresponds to a growth of 24.4 percent.
Of this amount, 36.2 billion soms are held in the cash registers of commercial banks, while 264.6 billion soms remain outside the banking system, including funds from the population and entrepreneurs.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, the cash registers of commercial banks received 1 trillion 680.2 billion soms, which is 18.7 percent higher than the corresponding figure for 2024. During the same period, 1 trillion 692.6 billion soms were issued from the banks' cash registers, which also marks a growth of 19.1 percent year-on-year.
The return of cash to the banks' cash registers during the reporting period amounted to 99.3 percent, which is slightly lower than the level recorded in the fourth quarter of last year.
