The cargo of Kyrgyz entrepreneurs is being delayed at the border with Russia.
At a recent meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Dastan Jumabekov drew attention to the problems faced by Kyrgyz businessmen. Every day, numerous appeals about cargo delays at the Russian border are received by deputies and media representatives.
According to Jumabekov, the goods of Kyrgyz entrepreneurs are not passing through the border, resulting in a backlog of cargo at customs worth millions of dollars.
“Millions of dollars are stuck at the border. I urge you, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, to organize an official visit to the Russian Federation to meet with State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin and Federation Council Chairwoman Valentina Matviyenko. It is the parliament's duty to address such issues,” he noted.
The Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, responded that he has already received official invitations from Vyacheslav Volodin and Valentina Matviyenko.
He also added that he plans to visit the Russian Federation in the third decade of March, where he intends to discuss the issue of exporting Kyrgyz goods.
