Kasymaliev emphasized that the ministry achieved significant successes, ensuring economic growth and strengthening financial stability.
“The budget of Kyrgyzstan has increased almost fivefold over the past five years, amounting to about 247.8 billion soms, which in total reached nearly 1 trillion 101 billion soms,” he stated.
He also added that along with the increase in revenues, expenditures have also risen, which has allowed for the implementation of large-scale construction projects, including roads and mortgage housing.
“Our budget, which previously had a social focus, has now become a development budget,” noted the head of government.
In conclusion of the meeting, Kasymaliev gave the Ministry of Finance a number of tasks, including raising salaries for social sector workers and ensuring the effective use of budget funds in the public procurement system.
