In the territory of Kyrgyzstan, current prices for raw milk, which processing enterprises purchase from farmers, have been recorded. According to the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, the price of one liter of milk with a basic fat content of 3.4% currently varies by region, reaching a maximum of 48 soms.

The official monitoring shows the following picture by regions:

Issyk-Kul region: the price range is from 34 to 48 soms; Chui region: the purchase price varies from 35 to 47 soms; Talas region: farmers sell milk at prices ranging from 32 to 41 soms.

The Ministry emphasizes that the formation of prices for products is now based on clear legislative norms. In accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 724, adopted on December 2, 2024, a special procedure for determining prices has been established. The main benchmark for setting the base price is milk with a fat content of 3.4%.

Regular price monitoring helps the ministry maintain a balance of interests between farming enterprises and large processing plants, contributing to the stability of milk product supplies to the domestic market of the country.
