Citizens of Kyrgyzstan received 256 million soms in payments under compulsory motor third-party liability insurance (OSAGO), as reported by Marat Pirnazarov, the chairman of the Financial Market Regulation and Supervision Service, on the air of Birinchi Radio.
He also noted that the majority of insurance payouts were related to voluntary types of insurance: for personal insurance, the payout amounted to 165 million soms, while for property insurance, it was 625 million soms.

Within the framework of compulsory housing insurance, over 28 million soms were paid out. It is important to note that OSAGO policies became leaders among mandatory types of insurance with a payout amount of 256 million soms.

According to Marat Pirnazarov, the population is becoming increasingly aware of the importance of insurance and its role in protecting property and social interests.
