He reported that by 2025, the country's GDP in dollar terms could reach about 22 billion dollars, demonstrating stable economic growth after the pandemic.
“Economic growth is primarily driven by internal resources, without dependence on the oil and gas sector and other raw materials,” emphasized Choro Seiitov.
The Deputy Minister clarified that the main drivers of growth are industrialization, the development of the energy sector, the creation of a transit hub, as well as increasing potential in agriculture and tourism. In particular, projects are being implemented in the country for the construction and modernization of processing enterprises, as well as the development of renewable energy sources and transport infrastructure.
In addition, the program includes measures to improve the business environment, expand access to financing, and attract foreign investment. It is expected that the implementation of these initiatives will ensure an average annual economic growth of at least 8% and increase the GDP per capita by 2030.
