He noted that Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating impressive GDP growth rates at both regional and global levels.
“Economic growth in 2025 remained high, exceeding 11% over the last two years (2024 and 2025). This confirms the effectiveness of our economic policy and the correctness of the chosen course,” he emphasized.
By the end of 2025, the GDP volume reached 1 trillion 976.4 billion soms, and according to updated forecasts, by the end of the year it may exceed 2 trillion soms. For comparison, in 2022, the GDP amounted to 1 trillion 21 billion soms.
Thus, over the past three years, the GDP volume has doubled. In 2025, the real GDP growth was 11.1%, leading to an average annual growth rate over the last four years of 10.2%, which is a high indicator on a global level,” Kasymaliev added.
The head of the government also noted that all sectors of the economy contributed to this growth:
· the construction sector increased by 21.1%;
· the services sector – by 10.9%;
· agriculture – by 2.2%;
· industry grew by 10.7%, with the volume of production amounting to almost 800 billion soms.
The highest growth rates were observed in pharmaceuticals – 170%, in food production – 30.1%, in the production of building materials and rubber-technical products – 35.7%, in the automotive industry – almost doubled, in chemicals – by 19.8%, and in mining – by 14.2%.
“Investment in fixed capital increased by 18.4% and amounted to 374.6 billion soms, which is a record value and 100 billion soms more than in 2024. Of this, 24% or 90.3 billion soms were allocated from the republican budget, which is 42.7% more compared to the previous year,” Kasymaliev reported.
