According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, regular fairs will start in each region of the country, including Bishkek, where local farmers, producers, and artisans can sell their products. These events will be held until June 2026.
The agency notes that there is no shortage of basic food products in the republic, and the stock of goods is at a sufficient level. The goal of the fairs is to ensure the domestic market and provide citizens with the opportunity to purchase products at prices lower than market rates. Special attention is given to supporting socially vulnerable groups and domestic agricultural producers.
In the capital, the events are organized in cooperation with the city administration and take place every Saturday and Sunday at the following addresses:
Turdakun Usubaliev Square (intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov streets, Erkindik Boulevard); Microdistrict "Vostok-5"; 12th microdistrict.
Participants in the fairs are required to meet certain criteria: having a confirmation letter from the district agricultural administration, strict adherence to sanitary and hygienic standards, and setting prices below market rates.
