The Manas district of the Talas region is demonstrating significant growth in the number of farms that are starting to engage in the breeding of high-yield livestock. Currently, there are 48 specialized cooperatives operating successfully in this area, focused on meat and dairy production.

A striking example of transformation in the agricultural sector is the new cooperative "Nogoybay Ata," which has chosen the Auliye-Kol breed of cows for breeding. These animals are well adapted to the local climatic conditions: they are resistant to cold and show outstanding results in meat productivity. For instance, the live weight of calves at 10 months old exceeds 500 kilograms, and cows over two years old reach a weight of more than one ton.

The development of the breeding sector is being carried out in accordance with the "from quantity to quality" policy proposed by Minister Bakyt Torobaev. State support for farmers is yielding results: last year, eight new cooperatives were established in the district.

One of the significant achievements of 2025 was the successful certification of two breeding farms, which allowed the Manas district to become an official base for breeding elite livestock of world-class level:

Meat direction: Aberdeen-Angus breed.

Dairy direction: Holstein-Friesian breed.

Experts emphasize that the transition to breeding not only significantly increases farmers' incomes but also contributes to strengthening the country's food security by providing the market with high-quality meat and dairy products.
