Control purchases and raids will be absent until the end of 2026
The State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan has decided to temporarily suspend raid inspections and control purchases among representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. This new measure will be in effect until December 31, 2026.
The agency noted that this measure is aimed at supporting entrepreneurs, reducing tax pressure, and creating more favorable conditions for doing business.
Now tax inspectors will not conduct inspections of small and medium-sized businesses based on the following criteria:
- use of cash registers;
- issuance of invoices;
- working with terminals for cashless payments;
- payments via electronic money and QR codes;
- availability of necessary documents for goods.
These changes apply to entrepreneurs who:
- operate under a simplified taxation system with a single tax of 0% or 0.5%;
- use patents;
- conduct business in areas with special taxation conditions;
- engage in sewing or textile production with a tax of 0.25%.
However, the exemption from inspections does not apply to everyone. The tax service will continue to check those who:
- operate without registration or a patent;
- have become the subject of complaints from citizens or organizations;
- have tax debts or do not fulfill salary payment obligations;
- trade in excise goods (such as alcohol or tobacco) — in this case, excise stamps will be checked.
In addition to this, the tax service intends to assist entrepreneurs by teaching them the rules of doing business, using cash registers, invoices, terminals, and QR codes, as well as providing practical support.
