Exchange rates for January 21

The National Bank reported the exchange rates of foreign currencies to the Kyrgyz som as of January 21, 2026.

• US Dollar (USD) remains at 87.45 soms (unchanged);
• Euro (EUR) is 102.5089 soms (increase compared to the previous day);
• Russian Ruble (RUB) — 1.1228 soms (increase);
• Kazakh Tenge (KZT) — 0.1725 soms (growth);
• Chinese Yuan (CNY) — 12.5666 soms (slight increase).

In commercial banks, the average purchase rate for the US currency is 87.30 soms, while the sale rate is 87.80 soms.

As for the Russian ruble, it is bought in banks at an average of 1.10 soms and sold for 1.14 soms.
