In Kyrgyzstan, individuals listed in the "blacklist" of banks will be able to apply for loans again after a three-year period. This decision became possible due to the approval of the bill by the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship, and Competition Development in its first reading.

This document aims to simplify citizens' access to credit resources and promote financial inclusion. In particular, it is proposed to reduce the retention period of negative credit information from five to three years.

Additionally, the bill stipulates that the negative credit history of borrowers who took loans of up to 10,000 soms will be removed after one year.

The adoption of these changes is expected to be a step towards reducing the financial burden on borrowers, simplifying re-access to bank lending, and creating favorable conditions for the growth of small and medium-sized businesses.
