
According to preliminary data, the gross domestic product of Kyrgyzstan for the period from January to December 2025 amounted to over 1.9 trillion soms. This figure is 11.1 percent higher than in the same period of 2024. This was reported by Baktybek Kudaybergenov, chairman of the National Statistical Committee.
According to Kudaybergenov, the volume of industrial production in the country during the same period amounted to 799.7 billion soms, which is 10.6 percent more than in January-December 2024. The main factors for growth were the increase in the production of pharmaceutical products, which rose 1.7 times, as well as significant growth in the production of rubber and plastic products (by 35.7 percent), construction materials, wooden and paper products, and printing (by 30.5 percent). Additionally, there was an increase in the production of food products (including beverages) and tobacco products (by 30.1 percent), chemical goods (by 19.8 percent), and mining (by 14.2 percent).

Positive changes were also recorded in the construction sector, where the volume of work increased by 21.1 percent. Wholesale and retail trade showed a growth of 17.8 percent, while agriculture grew by 2.2 percent.
