Inflation in Kyrgyzstan in 2025 was 9.4 percent
According to information provided by the Chairman of the National Statistical Committee, Baktybek Kudaybergenov, consumer prices and tariffs in Kyrgyzstan increased by 9.4% from January to December 2025 compared to December 2024.
The most significant increase was recorded in tariffs for services to the population, which rose by 11.2%. Prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 9.9%, while alcoholic products and tobacco goods became 8% more expensive. Non-food goods became 7.8% more expensive.
In December 2025, an increase in consumer prices and tariffs was observed in all regions of the country compared to the same month of the previous year. The city of Osh showed the highest overall price increase — 11.6%. This is related to the rise in prices for non-food goods by 12% and tariffs for services to the population by 13.5%.
Chui region noted the highest price increase for food products and non-alcoholic beverages — 13.1%. At the same time, Issyk-Kul region recorded the maximum increase in prices for alcohol and tobacco — 14.4%.
