Inflation in Kyrgyzstan in September 2025 was about 8.9%
The regulator attributes this to high volatility in global food markets, as well as a tense situation in the market for fuel and lubricants in Russia and growing external demand for certain types of locally produced goods.
The National Bank emphasized that the main threats to the country's economy remain external: these include fluctuations in prices for food and energy resources, uncertainty in the international economic environment, as well as a potential increase in domestic demand driven by rising incomes.
