At the Kyrgyzstan border, the import of 22 tons of feed salt from Uzbekistan was intercepted

Inspectors at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border at the "Dostuk" checkpoint stopped a large shipment of feed salt weighing 22 tons that was coming from Uzbekistan. The inspection revealed that the cargo did not meet safety standards. Specialists identified serious violations of veterinary and sanitary requirements established by the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The main reason for the detention was deficiencies in the veterinary accompanying documents, which did not allow for the confirmation of the quality and safety of the product.
As a result of the inspection, veterinary inspectors decided to prohibit the import of this product. An official act for the return was drawn up, and the goods were sent back to the sender in Uzbekistan through the same checkpoint. These control measures are carried out as part of ensuring the epizootic well-being of Kyrgyzstan and strict compliance with the norms of the Customs Union.
