Salt for livestock from Uzbekistan was not allowed into Kyrgyzstan

At the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border in Osh, at the veterinary control point "Dostuk," a shipment weighing 22 tons of salt for livestock, which was headed from Uzbekistan, was detained. This was reported in a press release from the Ministry of Water Resources and Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan.

Inspectors of the veterinary control point, during an inspection, found that the shipment did not comply with the veterinary and sanitary standards established by the Eurasian Economic Union. In particular, the veterinary documents for the shipment were found to be inadequate.

As a result of the inspection, a report was drawn up for the return of the goods. The salt was sent back through the border point "Dostuk."
