In Bishkek, there is active construction of apartment buildings in industrial zones. Local residents, as well as foreign investors, are showing interest in residential construction. However, what should be done with the industrial sector, which plays a key role in the country's development?
Professor of Economic Sciences Asylbek Ayupov believes that factories and plants should be located in small settlements of Kyrgyzstan.
He noted: "In cities like Kant and Kara-Balta, industrial zones can be created. This will contribute to their development and the creation of new jobs."
Regarding residential construction, Ayupov pointed out the problems with urban infrastructure, particularly the limited utilities.
He added: "It is important to consider that there is a shortage of electricity, water, and sewage. Therefore, it is crucial to approach this issue wisely and carefully to avoid serious consequences in the future."
