How Farmers in the Chuy Region Use Preferential Loans – Inspection by the Ministry of Agriculture
On January 15, 2026, in the Chuy region, in the Moscow and Sokuluk districts, a working trip was made by the Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan, Mirbek Duysheev. Together with the leadership of OJSC "Aiyl Bank" and OJSC "Eldik Bank," he visited several farms engaged in animal husbandry that received preferential loans under government programs.
According to a press release from the ministry, the purpose of the visit was to assess the effectiveness of the use of preferential loans and analyze the results of the implemented projects on-site. During meetings with farmers and businessmen, issues concerning the increase in meat production, expansion of livestock, modernization of infrastructure, and creation of new jobs in rural areas were discussed.
As a result of the trip, it was noted that preferential lending plays an important role in the development of meat livestock farming, contributes to increasing investment activity among agricultural producers, and strengthens the food security of the country. The collected materials and proposals will be used for further improvement of the mechanisms of state support for the agricultural sector.
