According to him, the country received investments amounting to $715.7 million last year. This contributed to the opening of new enterprises and the creation of jobs in various regions.
Mamatov noted that such results are an indicator of the successful implementation of tasks set at the state and regional levels.
According to the Ministry of Economy, the following enterprises were opened in the regions last year:
- Chui Region — 35 new enterprises and 3,731 jobs;
- Talas Region — 6 enterprises, 110 jobs;
- Jalal-Abad Region — 16 new enterprises, 700 jobs;
- Batken Region — 13 enterprises and 1,066 jobs;
- Issyk-Kul Region — 12 enterprises, 363 jobs;
- Naryn Region — 13 new enterprises, 432 jobs;
- Osh Region — 14 enterprises, 519 jobs;
- Bishkek — 6 new enterprises and 1,348 jobs;
- Osh — 4 enterprises, 202 jobs.
The ministry emphasizes that work on attracting investments and creating jobs in the regions will continue.
