"Salik Service" implemented AI and simplified tax reports for citizens

The State Enterprise "Salyk Service" has announced its main achievements over the four-year period. The agency reported the complete digitalization of tax reports, the implementation of functionality for remote tax payments through the website cabinet.salyk.kg and the mobile application Salyk, as well as the use of artificial intelligence technologies for data processing. In 2026, an expansion of AI usage in tax audits is planned, which should enhance the level of automation and transparency of these processes.

Shamsybek Kachkynbaya uulu, the director of the institution, noted that digital solutions have significantly reduced the time required for citizens to submit declarations and contact tax authorities. He emphasized that the main goal of the service is to minimize inconveniences for taxpayers and simplify all procedures.

In 2025, the World Bank recognized the tax payment process in Kyrgyzstan as the fastest among all countries. Previously, according to this organization, calculating taxes took seven times longer than the actual payment, but thanks to the implemented digital tools, this indicator has been significantly improved.
