According to the minister, Pakistan would be pleased to host and support constructive discussions between both parties, aiming for a comprehensive and sustainable resolution to the existing conflict. He made this statement after meetings with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt in Islamabad.
As a result of these negotiations, Pakistan, along with Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt, agreed to establish a committee that will work on finding solutions to normalize relations between the US and Iran, Ishaq Dar added.
Furthermore, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, also mentioned the possibility of negotiations between the US and Iran in Islamabad. Axios sources report that this meeting may involve the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, and US Vice President J.D. Vance.
