Til, known for his technological empire, continues to actively discuss the topic of the Antichrist, which creates an ironic paradox: he himself is creating technologies that could serve as the basis for the very total control he speaks of. As Elshad Musaoglu notes, his speeches represent a combination of scientific and theological reflections, echoing the works of Stanisław Lem and Thomas Aquinas.

Til's lectures in Rome took place in an atmosphere of strict confidentiality: two Catholic universities announced in advance their refusal to participate. The event was organized by the independent Cluny Institute in collaboration with the Italian cultural association Vincenzo Gioberti.

Til has long been giving lectures on the coming of the Antichrist, particularly at a conference in Paris in July 2023. His presentations in closed formats attract interest but are almost never covered by the media. The publication Wired was only able to reconstruct the details of his speech over time through the memories of witnesses.

In conversations, Til shares his worldview — for example, in an interview at the Mercatus Center in February 2024 and at the Hoover Institution in October of the same year.

In September-October 2025, a series of his lectures took place in San Francisco, organized by the non-profit ACTS17 Collective, which drew attention due to its name referring to the Christian idea of recognizing Christ in technologies. Tickets for the lectures sold out instantly, and attendees were required to sign a non-disclosure agreement upon entry.

Outside the building, protests against Palantir and ICE actions were held, including participants in satanic masks performing a ritual dance.

However, soon the regime of secrecy was breached. Kshitij Kulkarni, a researcher from Succinct, published a summary of the first lecture on his blog. He was quickly identified, and his ticket was canceled. Nevertheless, his notes helped to restore the essence of the presentation.

Audio recordings of the lectures were sent to the editorial office of The Guardian by an anonymous source. Til did not contest their authenticity, but his press secretary made several clarifications.

The lectures in Rome also took on a political hue against the backdrop of the war in Iran and the position of Pope Leo XIV, who, as a cardinal, had already spoken out against the policies of the Trump administration.

The Antichrist or Armageddon

Til claims that the world stands at a crossroads, and both paths threaten humanity. One is Armageddon, the other is the coming of the Antichrist, and it is the latter that he believes is underestimated.

In his view, the Antichrist is not just a character, but a system, an ideology, and a political project. A world state and the Antichrist are practically synonymous.

Til uses the metaphor of Scylla and Charybdis, emphasizing that humanity fears Armageddon, but this fear only fuels the global state.

“To say ‘Armageddon’ is normal. To say ‘Antichrist’ — and everyone looks at you like you’re an alien,” he explains.

Til emphasizes that before 1945, the world seemed too large for destruction, but with the advent of nuclear weapons, the situation radically changed. Now eschatology has become part of political thinking, and the apocalypse is a real threat.

Nevertheless, this does not lead to a more sober discussion of threats. Society avoids looking at its destructive capabilities.

The Antichrist seizes power, constantly mentioning Armageddon. “He uses the fear of existential threats to concentrate power,” claims Til.

Til sees this as a biblical prophecy: “When they say, ‘peace and safety,’ then sudden destruction will come upon them,” which he calls the slogan of the Antichrist.

Thus, the Antichrist uses fear to convince humanity to accept a “global dictatorship of security.” This risk, according to Til, is no less dangerous than the threat of global catastrophe itself.

Within his eschatology, Til also points to technological stagnation and the intellectual impotence of modern institutions. He argues that science has degenerated into hyper-specialization and cannot discuss big questions.

Progress has stopped, and society is becoming authoritarian and rigid. Til believes that those who demand global regulation of AI are playing into the hands of the Antichrist.

Forerunners of the Antichrist

International institutions, such as the UN, are seen by Til as signs of an ongoing process. He sees examples of restrictions on freedom everywhere, including mandatory age verification on social media and mass detentions for online expressions.

He also names activists like Greta Thunberg and philosopher Nick Bostrom as “forerunners of the Antichrist” for using fear of technology to justify global regulation.

According to Til, the Antichrist must be young and capable of ideological substitution, which makes him even more dangerous.

Silicon Valley, in his opinion, is engulfed in the “Luddism of effective altruists,” where the Antichrist copies Jesus, presenting himself as an “ultra-Christian” benefactor.

The Catechon Today

In the context of Til's lectures, the catechon is also discussed — the force that holds back the coming of the Antichrist. The USA is considered the main candidate for this role, but also for the role of the Antichrist himself.

Til actively funds politicians like J.D. Vance, who, in his opinion, could become an important figure in politics.

Til believes that his technological developments, such as Palantir, can help create a system that keeps the world from falling.

Palantir Technologies, founded by Til in 2003, has become an important player in the surveillance and data analysis technology market, receiving funding from the CIA.

The main task of Palantir is to integrate disparate data into a single analytical platform, allowing hidden connections to be seen.

However, Palantir is also criticized for its ties to government structures and total control. In particular, the system is used for surveillance of migrants and military operations.

In light of conflicts such as the war in Iran, Palantir actively applies its technologies to optimize decision-making processes in combat conditions, which raises both enthusiasm and concerns.

Thus, Palantir becomes not only a tool for analysis but also a symbol of control, embodying the very threat that Til speaks of.
