Fire extinguished at Kuwait airport after drone attack

A fire at Kuwait International Airport has been extinguished, which occurred after a drone attack on a fuel tank. This was reported by local authorities and news agencies.

According to information from Kuwaiti services, the firefighting process took about 58 hours. Fortunately, no people were harmed as a result of the incident, and the damage was limited to material losses.

On the same day, March 28, the Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority reported a new drone attack on the airport. Preliminary data indicates that the airport's radar systems were significantly affected by this strike.

So far, there is very little information on how these events will impact airport operations. However, authorities note that there were also no casualties as a result of the radar damage.
