Kalın characterized the attacks on Iran as misguided, noting that assaults on Gulf countries do not contribute to resolving the situation. He pointed to Israel as the main instigator of the conflict, claiming that this state has repeatedly blocked efforts to establish dialogue and negotiations.
He also assured that Turkey will continue its efforts to cease hostilities, and after the conflict ends, the region will need to quickly recover from the consequences of the war.
The escalation of military actions between the U.S., Israel, and Iran has been ongoing for about a month, and the hostilities also involve Gulf countries, creating an extremely tense situation in key maritime routes of the region.
