The sky over the city in Australia turned crimson.
For several hours, an apocalyptic atmosphere reigned over the city: the sky turned a bright red, and a thick layer of dust covered many settlements.
Shark Bay Caravan Park shared a video showing the eerie blood-red sky, captioning it: "No filters. Here it is. You can feel the dust in your eyes and mouth."
Eddie Smith, the head of the municipality, reported that Carnarvon was in a pink dust storm for about two hours, with winds reaching speeds of over 100 km/h (25-30 m/s).
