Researcher claims to have found a second Sphinx in Egypt
One of the arguments in support of his hypothesis is Biondi's reference to the "Dream Stele," located between the paws of the Great Sphinx. It features figures resembling sphinxes, which, according to the researcher, may indicate the existence of a second monument. Similar suggestions were previously made by Egyptologist Bassam el-Shammaa.
Moreover, Biondi asserts that new data shows the presence of a structure with vertical shafts and passages beneath one of the hills on the plateau, which may also be related to the famous Sphinx. However, he emphasizes that this is merely a hypothesis that requires further investigation and approval from the Egyptian authorities.
Nevertheless, there are currently no official confirmations of this version. Former Egyptian Minister of Antiquities Zahi Hawass has previously stated that the region has already been thoroughly researched, and no evidence of a second Sphinx has been found. Many experts and fact-checkers also note that no archaeological excavations have been conducted that could confirm the new hypothesis, leaving it unproven.
