
The decision to transform the Nalaikh Industrial and Technological Park into a special economic zone with attractive tax conditions, as well as support for investments and financing, was made by the government.
At a meeting held on March 25, 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers instructed responsible officials to ensure the unhindered implementation of public-private partnerships at the local government level.
On March 22, Prime Minister Zandan Shatar Gombojav visited Nalaikh, where he assessed the condition of the local medical center and healthcare system, as well as met with representatives of local authorities and the governor's office.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to accelerate the implementation of several key initiatives, including the completion of the new heating supply project in Nalaikh with a capacity of 79 MW within the current budget, the selection of a contractor, and the acceleration of construction work. It was also agreed to attract international financing for the expansion of pipeline systems, substations, and power lines from the thermal power plant, as well as to develop a tariff solution for heating supply to present to the Cabinet of Ministers.
In addition, the government will consider the possibility of constructing a new hospital building as part of a project funded by the Asian Development Bank, aimed at improving the healthcare system in the regions.
