However, he expressed concern that such a step could pose a security threat both to Ukraine and to Europe, as it would allow Russia to strengthen its positions in the region.
According to the President of Ukraine, the actions of Donald Trump, the President of the United States, are influenced by the situation in the Middle East. He stated: "Unfortunately, in my opinion, President Trump continues to adhere to a strategy of pressure on Ukraine."
Zelensky also emphasized that Russia, insisting on the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the east, hopes that Washington will lose interest in negotiations and ultimately withdraw from them.
