At the invitation of Temuulen Ganzorig, who is the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Security and Foreign Policy of the Parliament of Mongolia, a delegation led by Gusty Graas, a member of the Chamber of Representatives of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, arrived in the country.

On March 24, Temuulen Ganzorig, along with members of his committee and Ms. Munkhsoyel Baatarjav, who heads the Mongolia-Luxembourg parliamentary group, held a meeting with the arriving delegation.
During the meeting, Temuulen emphasized the importance of Mongolia's relations with Luxembourg, noting that the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations creates excellent opportunities for deepening mutual understanding and expanding cooperation.

He also emphasized that cooperation between parliaments is crucial for strengthening ties based on shared values of human rights and democracy.
In addition, Temuulen noted that on December 25, 2025, the Parliament of Mongolia ratified a loan agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to establish a National Cardiology Center. This project, he said, will be a significant contribution to healthcare and a symbol of fifty years of cooperation. He expressed gratitude to Luxembourg for the grant assistance provided.

Munkhsoyel Baatarjav
Munkhsoyel presented a brief report on the work of the Mongolia-Luxembourg parliamentary group, which was established in April 2025 and includes five members. She highlighted Mongolia's efforts to increase women's representation through electoral reforms and noted that the current parliament, consisting of 126 deputies, will continue to prioritize women's participation in the decision-making process.

Gusty Graas
Gusty Graas expressed satisfaction with the visit, which coincided with the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, and discussed issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation and the implementation of health projects.

During the conversation, both sides also discussed a project dedicated to the protection of cardiovascular health, which will be implemented in five phases over 25 years.
