
According to information from Politico, the second place in the elections was taken by the "Green" party, which received 11.6% of the votes. The "Venstre" party, led by Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen, took third place with a result of 10.1%. The "Liberal Alliance" garnered 9.4%, while the centrist "Moderates" received 7.7% of the votes.
Forming a new government will require the parties to begin coalition negotiations. Troels Lund Poulsen, who is a candidate for the position of Prime Minister, has already stated that it is impossible to create a coalition with the Social Democratic Party.
The Danish parliament, known as the Folketing, consists of 179 seats and is elected for a four-year term. Of these, 175 members are elected directly in Denmark, while 2 members represent Greenland and the Faroe Islands.
