
Recently, Doctor of Sciences (Sc.D) and Professor of the Department of Religious Studies at the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences, GANTUYA MAGSARJAV presented her new book "Choyryn Tavan Boty," which is also known as The Five Fields of Study in Buddhist Philosophy.
According to MiddleAsianNews, this work is a comprehensive study prepared by Gantuya Magsarjav from the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. It aims to systematically explore Buddhist philosophy and includes key areas that form the foundation of traditional Buddhist education, contributing to the attainment of enlightenment.

The main areas of study include:
- Logic and Epistemology (Tshadma): analysis of reasoning, verification, and cognitive processes.
- Philosophy/Metaphysics (Parchin): studies concerning perfection and the nature of reality.
- Madhyamaka (Uma): the philosophy of the Middle Way.
- Abhidharma (Chungon): studies in phenomenology and cosmology.
- Vinaya (Dulva): discipline and ethics.
Gantuya's book, published in 2026, covers the aforementioned traditional academic disciplines of Buddhism and is intended to disseminate this knowledge in English.
