According to information from the Financial Times, Iran has carried out strikes on gas facilities in Qatar, using modern missiles capable of bypassing Patriot air defense systems.
The attack occurred on March 18 and 19 and was a response to the actions of the United States and Israel against the Iranian gas field South Pars. The publication notes that during the attack on the QatarEnergy complex, maneuverable missiles were used with high efficiency, despite attempts to intercept them.

Of the five missiles launched, four were successfully shot down; however, one reached its target, resulting in fires and significant damage at the facility in Ras Laffan.

Military actions against Iran have been ongoing since February 28, and within the framework of this conflict, the parties have been exchanging strikes affecting energy infrastructure facilities. The escalation of the situation around the Strait of Hormuz also remains an important factor of tension in the region.
