In his statement, Syrsky noted that there has been an increase in the number of clashes, which in recent days has exceeded 200. This indicates a growing activity on the front.
Moreover, he emphasized that losses among the enemy have significantly increased: from Tuesday to Thursday, about 4,840 Russian soldiers were either killed or wounded.
According to the Commander-in-Chief, given the superiority of enemy forces, Ukrainian troops must adopt new and unconventional solutions. Nevertheless, he noted that the Ukrainian army is actively regaining the initiative and restoring lost positions.
Syrsky also visited the southern operational zone, where he held meetings with commanders. He issued orders to improve the supply of troops with ammunition, drones, and other necessary resources.
“I thank the commanders for their wise decisions and for saving the lives of our warriors. Special thanks to each soldier, sergeant, and officer for their daily struggle and for destroying the enemy,” the Commander-in-Chief emphasized.
