Trump announced the possible completion of the US military operation against Iran
He emphasized that the goal of the United States is the complete destruction of Iran's missile arsenal, including launchers, as well as the destruction of Iran's defense industry and the elimination of its naval and air forces, including air defense systems.
Trump also highlighted the importance of preventing Iran from getting closer to developing nuclear weapons. "The U.S. must be ready to respond quickly and powerfully to any threat in this direction," he added.
Furthermore, the president noted that the United States will continue to protect its allies in the Middle East, among which he listed Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
Separately, Trump commented on the Strait of Hormuz, stating that its security should be ensured by other countries using this maritime route. "If these countries seek assistance, we are ready to support them, but after the threat from Iran is eliminated, this will not be necessary," he concluded.
